Any idea what happened? I'm using Youtube.

Re: The Great Photoshop Debate – Yes another opinion.

I think Photoshop comes against the society itself, full of artificiality and hypocrisy, I think he likes to see something authentic even bizarre but also has a sense of art when it is good and I think in this sense there is no objection from .

Re: The Great Photoshop Debate – Yes another opinion.

In short, absolutely NOT!!!
except in one circumstance... That is if you are creating an image with no photographed elements at all.
Photoshop is a great tool and can be used to create some amazing images. You can even create some pretty amazing stuff from base photos that most would look at and hit the delete key. I know I've salvaged many photos that I would've thought unusable before Photoshop.
However the one thing I always find; The better your photo, the better your end result. Even if the photo is just being used to make up one tiny element.

Re: The Great Photoshop Debate – Yes another opinion.

I love working with photoshop, I agree with about everything you said. I am also PRO PHOTOSHOP!!!! With it I can create anything. I specialize in digital art, and photo-minipulation. I am very used to taking photos and minipulating them to be things they never would have been. With all of its unique tools and styles, using photoshop is an art in itself.

But now I have a question for you...
it has to do with a project i am working on...
Does Photoshop negate the need for good photography?

Re: Radio Control HPI Baja 5B KILLS Dog

Baja rocks!!!!

Re: How to download YouTube videos to Mac easily.

You can either do it that way or just download Realplayer and Realplayer Downloader which is an additional program and comes with it as an option. Once you have downloaded it, each time you watch a Youtube video or any other type of video online (some are blocked or protected, e.g. BBC News items etc) the program opens automatically. It gives you an option to "Download" the video which it has already prepped. All you have to do is click the download button and it shifts it to a folder in your Movies folder called Realplayer.

Re: The Great Photoshop Debate – Yes another opinion.

What's wrong about it?

Re: The Great Photoshop Debate – Yes another opinion.

that is all wrong!!

Re: Exposing the truth about green screen use in your favorite TV shows.

nice post

Re: How to download YouTube videos to Mac easily.

Just remember that in incognito mode cache files are stored as "data #", and I'm not sure if it's possible to convert those to an FLV format.

Re: How To Transfer & Convert Logged Video Clips From Avid Media Composer to Final Cut Pro

Hi David,

Thanks for your question.

Honestly, the easiest way is to use the Automatic Duck plugin Pro Export FCP 4.0 http://www.automaticduck.com/p...
I don't really know of another way to transfer the actual project file.

If all you want to do is move captured footage from FCP to Avid, then I'm pretty sure that Sebsky tools can help do that. I'm not sure of the actual procedure as I've never done it that way round before.

I guess the biggest question that pops into my mind is, why introduce a third platform? If you're already using FCP and Vegas, I'd stick with one of them. Personally my preference would be FCP but I'm biased. Introducing a third platform will just introduce more headaches.

I hope this helps.

Re: How To Transfer & Convert Logged Video Clips From Avid Media Composer to Final Cut Pro

Hi James,

Me and a collegue are working on the 'making of' of a feature film in the Netherlands, and both of us have been shooting and capturing, my collegue in Vegas/windows and me in FCP. Now we want to blend it all together for a final version for on the DVD, and we are considering using FCP or Avid (on an apple). Thus my question is if you know it is possible to let Avid read the final cut pro project file, so exactly the other way around as you described in your article, keeping the timecodes.

Thanks a lot,

David.

Re: How To Transfer & Convert Logged Video Clips From Avid Media Composer to Final Cut Pro

Amiable brief and this enter helped me alot in my college assignement.
